Human remains found near Waiparous identified as Calgary man

Remains found near Waiparous have been identified as Jeremy Boisseau, 29, of Calgary.

Human remains that were found in the Waiparous area last fall have been identified as that of a Calgary man and police are treating his death as a homicide.

Canada Olympic Park’s sliding track closes for the season, future unclear

WinSport says it is still in talks with the government about how it could keep the facility's track open. The refrigeration system, which is 30 years old, needs to be replaced.
It was the last day lugers had to race on the track at WinSport’s Canada Olympic Park this season, but there are doubts about whether there will ever be another season there.
