Pedestrian struck south of intersection of Macleod Trail and Southland Drive

Damage to the front end of a vehicle following a collision with a pedestrian Tuesday night near the intersection of Macleod Trail and Southland Drive South.

The southbound lanes of  Macleod Trail have been closed to traffic south of Southland Drive after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle.

EMS, CPS and CFD crews responded to the scene shortly after 10:00 p.m..

The driver of the southbound Cadillac crossover remained at the scene following the crash. The collision occured south of the intersection and not in a marked crosswalk.

The  age and condition of the pedestrian has not been confirmed.
