City of Calgary determined to identify cab driver who refused teen at airport

The City of Calgary Livery Transport Services has launched an investigation into the unknown taxi driver who refused to drive a teenage girl from the Calgary International Airport to an airport-area hotel early Sunday morning.

The Calgary police Forensic Unit has completed its search of a southeast condo where missing mother Jasmine Lovett lived with her 22-month-old daughter Aliyah Sanderson.

Heavy snowfall results in over 100 crashes in the City of Calgary

City crews say the snowfall didn't come as much of a surprise and crews were ready to handle the deluge.
It has been a terrible time for drivers on the road in Calgary over the past 24 hours after a heavy snowstorm resulted in slippery and treacherous conditions everywhere in the city.
Calgary police were called to 127 crashes between 5:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. and there were injuries in 18 of those incidents.
